- I'm Trenny and my philosophy is rather simple-I believe there are only 2 forces in this world, Love or Fear. My goal is to try to see things through the eyes of love, but I am fallible and do not always succeed. My professional career at the moment is that of a fashion stylist in New York,but my interests are varied. This blog is the like a blog ‘magazine/newspaper/journal', where I’ve combined all the elements of things that I love to learn through those mediums myself. Some life journaling, lots of music. A little health, natural product talk and recipe sharing. Random musings on life experiences, a little style, art and humour. Environment issues too as nature is our greatest gift. I hope it teaches you something, makes you laugh, or gets you interested in something different. If it fires you up,I welcome learning all different points of view. I hope that what I share, including my mistakes, encourages you. *In the end, I believe we are all each other's teachers, so whatever you might be inspired to say/share with me through this blog- good and bad- I fully welcome it. This Mortal Coil - another day

This band came out in the Mid 80's in the midst of The Clash, The Sex Pistols and The Beastie Boys and I was in love. Such a Dichotomy during such an aggressive period in music
LIFE IS BUT A DREAM
Sometimes life knocks me between the eyes as it did when I saw this picture online the other day. The man on the right is one of my best friends in the whole wide world, Ted Stafford. I met him 20 years ago -which in and of itself seems crazy to me- we both had summer jobs at a little cafe in the Hamptons. I was 18 and worked at the front counter and he was 15 and was the stock boy. We instantly connected as we both loved fashion and music and Vogue magazine. Yes- he was way way in the closet, but I ALWAYS knew he was gay, and I knew just how fabulous he was. Guess where and who he is in this picture? He is at a party in NYC for GQ and he is ----what? you ask--THE FUCKING EUROPEAN FASHION EDITOR OF GQ MAGAZINE!! And I am proud just like a mommy! Goes to show that you can do ANYTHING you dream of in your mind. There is something great that oneo f my favorite authors, Wayne Dyer, once said and I will leave you with it:
