Mind maps, life timelines and personal ideas of the way things 'should' go will never, and should never, trump love. Love will rip you sideways, take all of your notions of control and wipe them away, to put you back on your path which love has now made curvy, beautiful, surprising, and more interesting than you could have ever created with a map of your own. And when you let go, you'll find your only map, your only home, ever, was not the one you created, but the one of love.

- I'm Trenny and my philosophy is rather simple-I believe there are only 2 forces in this world, Love or Fear. My goal is to try to see things through the eyes of love, but I am fallible and do not always succeed. My professional career at the moment is that of a fashion stylist in New York,but my interests are varied. This blog is the like a blog ‘magazine/newspaper/journal', where I’ve combined all the elements of things that I love to learn through those mediums myself. Some life journaling, lots of music. A little health, natural product talk and recipe sharing. Random musings on life experiences, a little style, art and humour. Environment issues too as nature is our greatest gift. I hope it teaches you something, makes you laugh, or gets you interested in something different. If it fires you up,I welcome learning all different points of view. Thank you for sending me the emails of inquiry, as one said, "where in the hell have you been?", regarding my blogging.
I'm back. To briefly summarize, I have been super and tremendously busy with work, (6 days a week y'all!) but am doing my first, (let's hope'decent') blog in a long time tonite! Don't know what I am inspired to share this lovely day, but there is always something percolating in this brain of mine.
I missed you too by the way! I always learn so much from your insights and things you teach me from something I posted, so I can't wait to be back in touch.

Alice + Olivia Shoes @ Payless Shoes
Alice + Olivia is an upscale women's contemporary design collection that I very much admire. They do feminine, updated clothes for the modern girl and woman. I own one measly piece of this line, as the prices are rather exorbitant. But, lucky for us (and me), the line has signed on to do a a collection for Payless Shoe Source. So now, shoes that normally cost over $100, can be gotten at under a fraction of the price. Gaultier is designing for Target, Nicole Miller is designing for Walmart, and in turn, like Alice + Olivia, being sympathetic to our budget and the volatile economy. So, the next time that you're looking for shoes for a special occasion-shoes that you may only be wearing a few times especially- hit Payless girls. You cannot beat the low, low prices!
