After almost two weeks of not blogging and thinking about it, I came to a conclusion. And it was easy.
I began being consistent with blogging when I realized how cathartic it was for me. I have always done it without thinking that anyone -save a couple of friends and family members- was reading it. It has always been just an expression of myself for me. That my thoughts have garnered so many readers and made them think, has been just a happy offshoot.
But, I've come back to that truth you always hear about of the true artist. (I'm not saying my blog is 'art', just using the reference to make a point.) The truth that reminds one how the work gets messed up when you start thinking too much about your audience. This is true, I believe, in any type of art, right? You lose the organic flow and the honesty and the 'you' in the work.
So, I am continuing my blog the same way. I also feel that my blog will evolve as I, myself, evolve as a human being.
So, HELLO! Summer's over. Man. :( But I have a couple of cool new winter coats and have decided that I am going to dress really cute in my gear and just enjoy the fall and winter and not whine.
Anyway, it's Sept 15 and it's sunny and 80 degrees today. That's awesome, and it helps.
**Oh and the above is supposed to be me, from a friend's daughter who was making cartoon versions of all of us online last night. As she did each of us, she would stare at us intently like Picasso from across the room. (She's 7) So cute.
She finished and exclaimed, "Here Trenny, look, it's YOU!"
Hmm....it's kinda close, I guess. haha.
