About Me

My photo
I'm Trenny and my philosophy is rather simple-I believe there are only 2 forces in this world, Love or Fear. My goal is to try to see things through the eyes of love, but I am fallible and do not always succeed. My professional career at the moment is that of a fashion stylist in New York, but my interests are varied. This blog is the like a blog ‘magazine/newspaper/journal', where I’ve combined all the elements of things that I love to learn through those mediums myself. Some life journaling, lots of music. A little health, natural product talk and recipe sharing. Random musings on life experiences, a little style, art and humour. Environment issues too as nature is our greatest gift. I hope it teaches you something, makes you laugh, or gets you interested in something different. If it fires you up,I welcome learning all different points of view. I hope that what I share, including my mistakes, encourages you. *In the end, I believe we are all each other's teachers, so whatever you might be inspired to say/share with me through this blog- good and bad- I fully welcome it. I learn just as much from you. Happiness and Love xoxo TrennyLynn - trennylynn@gmail.com

'Working at the Car Wash'

Michael Cerachi was/is BY FAR my favorite karaoke partner. He used to come into the bar and after two hours of watching a bunch of buzzed people sing songs like Hotel California, he would walk in with his Tina Turner dress and wig and say "Trenny, when I rip off my jacket as 'Proud Mary' kicks in, catch it so it doesn't get stained on the floor. "
He moved to San Francisco a couple of years ago and performs with a self made drag group called The Tranny Shack. I think he can also be found on google under his drag name
"Tweeka Turner"
His you tube performance of "We Don't Need Another Hero' by Tina Turner is memorable.

The above pic was posted on his page the other day with a message that he wrote to the friend who sent it to him:
"Oh wow, 'Working at the Car Wash'! Remember going to the Haight to get the outfits and wigs? And what about our earlier performance of 'Hell Is For Children' by Pat Benatar a couple of weeks earlier?"
LOL!! Funny, good stuff! That San Francisco crowd better be appreciating his dope lip synching grooves as much as I did- I'm so jealous I'm missing them! He is a super sweet person- for real.

**He did a version- at my request- one time of "Spill The Wine" that literally made me pee in my pants a little- I was laughing so hard.
