Began reading the Bible, finally, for real. Just a couple of quick observations.
1) The pages are paper thin (as you know) and reading the teensy print of Genesis without glasses= no fun.
2) I had gotten this actual Bible directly from the church, and the above 'pamphlet' was what I so joyfully found sandwiched between the 7th and 8th pages of the aforementioned "Genesis."Talk about using fear as a tactic, huh?.
3) With only comprehension purposes in mind and , no disrespect intented to The Bible, reading it as if it were a Homer Illiad or Odyssey tale, is helping it roll along alot better. There's some pretty fantastical things in there.
