About Me

I'm Trenny and my philosophy is rather simple-I believe there are only 2 forces in this world, Love or Fear. My goal is to try to see things through the eyes of love, but I am fallible and do not always succeed. My professional career at the moment is that of a fashion stylist in New York, but my interests are varied. This blog is the like a blog ‘magazine/newspaper/journal', where I’ve combined all the elements of things that I love to learn through those mediums myself. Some life journaling, lots of music. A little health, natural product talk and recipe sharing. Random musings on life experiences, a little style, art and humour. Environment issues too as nature is our greatest gift. I hope it teaches you something, makes you laugh, or gets you interested in something different. If it fires you up,I welcome learning all different points of view. I hope that what I share, including my mistakes, encourages you. *In the end, I believe we are all each other's teachers, so whatever you might be inspired to say/share with me through this blog- good and bad- I fully welcome it. I learn just as much from you. Happiness and Love xoxo TrennyLynn - trennylynn@gmail.com

Gibson and North Haven Beaches!

Ahh.. A friend posted these pictures from one of my last 'girls'/friend days at the beach in Sagaponack, NY. Boy, do I dream about the beach often towards the tail end of winter! Look at my pretty beach mamas! If you want to go to a beautiful beach on the East End of Long Island,NY- you certainly cannot go wrong with Sagaponack. Sagaponack is truly one of my favorite places on earth.
These photos are from a party that a local guy sponsors at Gibson Beach in The Hamptons for all the locals (like us) who had tolerated the city people and tourists all summer. While they would all be heading back to the city, we could again breathe and have our 'home' back. It is a fun tradition where we could all let loose- finally. And, see all the friends you were too busy to see when you were working waitressing doubles!
*Boy, I cannot believe that I am in the middle of that pyramid holding that weight. **I must have had a few numbing cocktails at that point!* haha

*Also, speaking of waitressing, I clipped the following from an interview I read from InStyle with Sandra Bullock the other day and thought it was so true. It went like this:

IN Style: "So, Sandra, what did you learn from your early days as an actress waiting tables?"

Sandra: "If you wait tables, especially in New York, it helps you to do an array of other jobs. I think that the President of the US should wait tables! You connect with human beings and learn how to deal with many different personalities- both pleasant AND difficult. You also learn how to serve someone, care for them and at the same time, if the place is nice, learn about wines and great food. It's humbling, and we all could use to be humbled a few times in a lifetime. I'm a civil servant, even as an actress. That's what we are supposed to be in this world. To serve. To care for the ground, the buildings, the trees, your neighbors, your animals, your family and friends. You have to be a servant to the world around you or it doesn't work well enough."
