About Me

I'm Trenny and my philosophy is rather simple-I believe there are only 2 forces in this world, Love or Fear. My goal is to try to see things through the eyes of love, but I am fallible and do not always succeed. My professional career at the moment is that of a fashion stylist in New York, but my interests are varied. This blog is the like a blog ‘magazine/newspaper/journal', where I’ve combined all the elements of things that I love to learn through those mediums myself. Some life journaling, lots of music. A little health, natural product talk and recipe sharing. Random musings on life experiences, a little style, art and humour. Environment issues too as nature is our greatest gift. I hope it teaches you something, makes you laugh, or gets you interested in something different. If it fires you up,I welcome learning all different points of view. I hope that what I share, including my mistakes, encourages you. *In the end, I believe we are all each other's teachers, so whatever you might be inspired to say/share with me through this blog- good and bad- I fully welcome it. I learn just as much from you. Happiness and Love xoxo TrennyLynn - trennylynn@gmail.com

The Best Life Teachings Are The Simplest

Here's a key one that is sooo important, we will all be much happier practicing it daily. Take my advice.
Life is sure not to be easy everyday. It will rain, you will get wet. Your car will break down, strangers, co-workers will be randomly rude (and this lesson would nix that too), you will get the flu, your work day may get overhwhelming sometimes, your back may ache, you may want to cry.....but the single most important thing between a joyful successful person and a n unhappy one, is how you process it. And you cannot blame anyone. That is it. Look at it with new eyes and have a laugh at it. I had a 3 hour train mix up and two train lates because of a so called 'medical emergency' on one train, that screwed up a nice dinner I wanted to have. Now the same train this morning has been cancelled and I don't know when or how I will get to work, but I will now laugh at these things and take it as it comes. But boy it's hard in the moment--but guess what? Remember these moments pass and keeping a sense of humour about the things in life you can't control, makes all the difference. Let the people that didn't have that experience stay happy. Feed off of their joy and let it go!
