About Me

I'm Trenny and my philosophy is rather simple-I believe there are only 2 forces in this world, Love or Fear. My goal is to try to see things through the eyes of love, but I am fallible and do not always succeed. My professional career at the moment is that of a fashion stylist in New York, but my interests are varied. This blog is the like a blog ‘magazine/newspaper/journal', where I’ve combined all the elements of things that I love to learn through those mediums myself. Some life journaling, lots of music. A little health, natural product talk and recipe sharing. Random musings on life experiences, a little style, art and humour. Environment issues too as nature is our greatest gift. I hope it teaches you something, makes you laugh, or gets you interested in something different. If it fires you up,I welcome learning all different points of view. I hope that what I share, including my mistakes, encourages you. *In the end, I believe we are all each other's teachers, so whatever you might be inspired to say/share with me through this blog- good and bad- I fully welcome it. I learn just as much from you. Happiness and Love xoxo TrennyLynn - trennylynn@gmail.com

Men/Relationships

3 things came into my radar today to inspire this post.
* Valentines Day. A girl cannot help but think of a boy at this time of year. Either the boy she loves or the kind of boy she hopes to love.
* My search for cute Valentines decor in the storage closet at work today, and finding these funny cocktail napkins. Yes girls, I hope you get a laugh out of these. But, everyone please know this is tongue and cheek for a girl like me. You will be hard pressed to find a girl who is more boy crazy than me. Or one who loves being a girl more than me. No matter how difficult some men are, I think they are worth it........ Most of them. ;)
*A chat I had with a good friend today. Her philosophy is better than all the Sex and The City and relentless Chick Flick pontificating that all these girls do to figure men out. ( Big boring waste of time)
She said:

"When it comes to relationships, there are only two kinds of men. The ones that are ready for a relationship and the ones who are not. They will either be open to learning about it and participating or they won't. It takes work Trenny. From both people. Even with your soulmate. And you can't escape that. You have got to be ready. Period. "

Readiness. Willingness. Not perfection. She's right. It's easy.
But the good guys- the really interesting ones- why are they always so difficult????
