I'm Trenny and my philosophy is rather simple-I believe there are only 2 forces in this world, Love or Fear. My goal is to try to see things through the eyes of love, but I am fallible and do not always succeed. My professional career at the moment is that of a fashion stylist in New York, but my interests are varied. This blog is the like a blog ‘magazine/newspaper/journal', where I’ve combined all the elements of things that I love to learn through those mediums myself. Some life journaling, lots of music. A little health, natural product talk and recipe sharing. Random musings on life experiences, a little style, art and humour. Environment issues too as nature is our greatest gift. I hope it teaches you something, makes you laugh, or gets you interested in something different. If it fires you up,I welcome learning all different points of view. I hope that what I share, including my mistakes, encourages you. *In the end, I believe we are all each other's teachers, so whatever you might be inspired to say/share with me through this blog- good and bad- I fully welcome it. I learn just as much from you. Happiness and Love xoxo TrennyLynn - trennylynn@gmail.com

SOTD Someone's Sister (well, Sheryl Crow) - The Difficult Kind

Whoa- Just whoa. I was looking for the original Sheryl Crow version of this song this morning, as I am just feeling this song and it's lyrics today and found this. I love that I give myself a little time and patience to listen to covers. Some can really, really suck, but some just blow me away. Like this one. I just love when singers are unpretentious and stripped down, and it's just them, their strong voice, and a mic-- belting it out. And, here, another great example of two voice harmonies working so well.

This is my favorite Sheryl Crow song. I recorded this with my guitar teacher Mike and his niece, who is also a singer. I think he has a copy and am going to email him this morning to see if he can send me the MP3. But, man, we sure didn't sound as strong as this. I might be a little intimidate to post!
I am also posting the Sheryl Crow version, because, unfortunately, the girls above, completely skipped the bridge. This being one of the best parts of the song.

**Do you think I am wrong in guessing that they might be on the 'same team', if you know what I mean. ;) --sorry that's bad. Couldn't help it. I know you're thinking it too!!
